Team Rules

Football is emotional, and we want every player to know it's okay to be passionate -- but not at the expense of others, or the team. These aren't punishments. They're tools for growth. Enforced fairly and consistently, no matter who the player is.

  1. Show Respect. Respect your coaches, referees, teammates, opponents, and yourself -- at all times. No backtalk, arguing, name-calling, or complaining. If broken: Immediate benching for a minimum of one full quarter or series.
  2. Control Emotions. No yelling, throwing equipment, or outbursts. Learn to breathe, reset, and stay composed. If broken: Benched until the player calms down and speaks respectfully.
  3. Be a Team Player. No complaining about play calls, position, or who gets the ball. Cheer for your teammates. If broken: Benched for a series. Repeated behavior = reduced playing time.
  4. Give Maximum Effort. Hustle every play. Being tired is okay. Giving up is not. If broken: Pulled from the field until full effort resumes.
  5. Follow Instructions. Listen when coaches speak. Execute directions the best you can. If broken: Timeout from play. Repeated behavior leads to longer bench time.
